It is essential for your child’s education that they establish the routine of attending school every day and on time!

Attendance is celebrated and rewarded at Rednal Hill Infant School. Each week one class receives the winning certificate for the best attendance record. Points are rewarded to classes for their attendance record and contribute to a weekly league table.

Each half term Gold, Silver and Bronze attendance certificates are awarded to children in the final Congratulations Assembly. The children are delighted to receive an award and be recognised for excellent attendance.

If your child achieves 100% attendance for the whole year they are awarded a school hoodie with 100% attendance printed on the back and the school year. The children are extremely proud to wear these around school. 

Many children have achieved 2 and even 3 years of 100% attendance whilst at this school. They have been rewarded with special treats personal to them. We have enjoyed days at Drayton Manor Theme Park, horse riding, theatre visits and even a match day in an executive box at Aston Villa FC!

School hours

Start of school: 8.55 a.m. (classroom doors open at 8.45 a.m. and close at 9.00 a.m.)

Lunchtime: 12.00 –1.00 p.m.

End of school: 3.20 p.m.
