Children become eligible for Nursery when they reach their third birthday. Every child aged 3 years old is eligible for 15 hours per week government funding. For the majority of children they would start in the September after they turn three. A January and April intake will take place if we have spaces.
We are very proud of our Nursery class. Nursery children learn through play. They are encouraged to explore our well resourced, creative environment. Evidence shows that children who have attended our nursery class do especially well in Reception.
On offer of a Nursery place, a play session will take place in June to introduce your child to the Nursery setting. In September your child’s Classteacher and a Teaching Assistant will visit you at home to meet you and your child and arrange a start date.

Afternoon Session: 12.30pm – 3.20pm

The nursery day follows a flexible routine designed to follow the needs of your child and encourage independence. Your child will participate in a mixture of free and structured activities indoors and in the outdoor area.
All children participate in physical activities weekly to help develop their fine and gross motor movements.
Children have free fruit, toast, milk and water every day.
